Framework and faculty

New Earth Leaders offers a basic framework for a half year program including a two day preparation phase, an action learning program in Brazil and two post workshop days. The basic framework includes learning facilitators, Earth Charter facilitators and a learning and development program. Yet within that framework we leave the space for part-taking organizations and participants to co-create a large part of the program together with the New Earth Leaders team.

personal intake meetings with the participant and the learning facilitator.

preparation weekend
2 day preparation workshop with teaching, coaching and mind/body input. Participants will get to know each other, the Earth Charter, faculty and learning facilitators.

Participants shape the match between the “in the field” challenges, their own learning objectives and their organization’s challenges.

Action learning program The action learning phase is the Mutual Learning Journey to Brazil where the two groups meet one another. The time is spend on connecting with and sharing on the main subject in the first phase, then five days will be spent working on the business case, and finishing on transferring the learned lessons to the company context. This action learning program is under the guidance of professional learning facilitators. We will reflect, work and train on:

  •  the sustainable business case (in the own organization)
  •  development of value-driven leadership based on the Earth Charter
  •  acquiring skills for multi-stakeholder engagement and working with diversity

1 day re-entry workshop which purpose is to support the integration of insights and learnings, to further build community and to craft the action learning plans for the coming months. Peer- and professional coaching appointments will be made to give young leaders the greatest possibility to succeed in their organizations.

Participants move into action within their own organizations with support and encouragement from their coaches and the community.
